So You Want To Become A DM/GM At BGE

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in becoming a game master or dungeon master for BGE. Before you can begin you’ll need to speak with our TTPRG Sommelier via discord or by email. They will reach out within two business days to begin enrollment. 

You’ll need to complete the following steps to start your GM/DM quest at BGE.

  1. Contact our TTPRG Sommelier  via discord or email-- please reach out to staff for our current TTRPG Sommelier contact information.

  2. Review the stores terms of service (available here).

  3. Review the store credit policy (provided by TTPRG Sommelier

  4. Complete the GM/DM agreement form (provided by TTPRG Sommelier

  5. Attend one game at BGE as a player.

After these items have been completed our TTPRG Sommelier  or a BGE staff member will sit in on your first game as a GM/DM to help with any questions you may have. 

You’ll then be able to schedule games on available nights and gain access to the GM/DM channels in the BGE Discord. 

How do I schedule a game?

Speak to our TTPRG Sommelier  or Events Manager to begin scheduling your game. Please provide:

  • The system

  • Title of the adventure

  • A player facing pitch for the website

  • Relevant event details such as level or availability of pre generated characters 

  • Possible dates/times of events

  • Max player count. By default our tables are restricted to a max of 6 players and one GM.

  • Maturity level: kids, teens, adults only, family

**Note -Please be sure that you are submitting games for days/events relevant to your request. Example: for D&D Thursday events please do not submit non-D&D games. For Friday Roleplay Roulette, please do not submit traditional D&D games. 

What days are you running what games?

  • Sundays- D&D expanded edition (Longer sessions more focused on campaigns and roleplay)

  • Monday - RPG Adventure Club (suitable for all rpgs)

  • Thursday - Traditional D&D (a night for exclusively D&D. Please note first Thursday of each month is family night)

  • Friday - Roleplay Roulette (a night for all rpgs except for traditional D&D)

Why would I want to become a GM/DM?

  3. Early Access to event materials

What if I wanna run a private game at the store?

For private games you will not need to follow most of the above steps. You will will need to use the table request channel/system outlined in our Discord or on our website:

**Please note that you will still be subject to BGE’s conduct policies outlined in the terms of service.
