BGE's Tabletop Halloween Costume Contest (2023)
We will be hosting our second Halloween Costume Contest during Halloween week/weekend at BGE's Tabletop! Feel free to stop by at any point over the weekend and show off your costume!
How do I enter?
Simply, stop by the store during our opening hours from Wednesday (10/25) to Tuesday (10/31). We will take a picture of your costume and you'll be entered in the contest!
Entering our Halloween Costume Contest grants us permission to use your photo and/or videos on our social media and other marketing materials.
How do I win?
We will have several different categories for you to enter. If we take a picture of your costume for the contest, you will automatically be added to all of the categories. Keep in mind, you can only win one category.
Each judge will nominate 1 - 2 costumers for each category. Then, all the judges will vote on the best costume for that particular category.
Who are the judges and when will they be at the store?
The judges will select winners for each category. You do not need to come to the store during a particular time. It can be anytime between Wednesday (10/25) and Tuesday (10/31). Keep in mind, if you come during a time that a judge is here, it may influence their decisions when determining winners.
Dustin - Dustin will be at the store most of the week. Wednesday all day, Thursday until 5 pm, Friday all day, Saturday all day, Sunday until 4 pm, and Tuesday 4 pm to 7 pm.
Elizabeth - Sunday from 4 pm to 8:30 pm, Monday from 1 pm to 7 pm
Gray - Thursday from 5 pm to 9 pm, Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm, Saturday from 5 pm to 9 pm
Grace - Grace will be judging the photos

What are the categories?
- Best overall costume
- Best homemade costume (the majority of the costume must be either made from hand, found around the house, and/or crafted)
- Best makeup
- Best youth costume (ages 16 and under)
- Best companion costume (at least two costumes needed to enter)
- Best adult and youth costume combo (one costume participant must be 16 and under and one costume participant must be older than 16)
- Best tabletop gaming themed costume
- Best pun or clever costume
Ultimately, your costume category is left to the discretion of the judges.

What can I win?
We will be awarding a $20 gift card for each category winner!
