If the current session you are interested in, is sold out, add "Wait List" to your cart, and we will reach out to you. We have additional DMs available, but will need at least three confirmed players to open up an additional table.

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL NEED TO CONFIRM WITH US BEFORE SIGNING UP SINCE SPACE IS LIMITED. This is because coordinating DMs, schedules, players, and our store calendar is a juggling act and we want to ensure we have everything lined up before you purchase your punch card.

This is a punch card for five Dungeons & Dragons sessions for your child. These can be redeemed for any of our Dungeons & Dragons for Kids sessions-- pending availability.

Note: Although we call it a punch card, your session attendance is tracked in our system not on a physical punch card.

            Upcoming Campaign Schedules

            To be announced!

Additional Availability - We have additional availability on Sundays and Saturdays at the same time as our scheduled sessions. We also have potential weekday availability. If we have at least three players interested in a 5-Week Session, we can open up additional sessions.

            Sold out?

If our punch card is currently sold out, be sure to reach out to us to get added to our waitlist.

How do we sign up and get started?

IMPORTANT: Because coordinating DMs, schedules, players, and our store calendar is a juggling act it is important you check with us to ensure we have a space for you before purchasing your punch card.

Purchase a 5-session punch card for the D&D sessions by selecting the campaign in the dropdown menu. See above what campaigns we currently have available.

We will track your punches in our system in the store.

What if we cannot make it to a session?

If you cannot make it to a session, no worries! You will not lose a punch, unless it is your first session. We ask that your reservation for the first session serves as a deposit for your punch card. This way we can ensure that we can have a DM available to start the campaign. Otherwise, if you miss a future session you can carry over your punches to future D&D campaigns hosted by other DMs.

And if you do not plan to continue with our D&D sessions in the future you can also redeem the punch as store credit too!

If we have to cancel a session for whatever reason on our end, we will offer you a full refund for that session ($19.99). Or if you prefer, you can choose to apply your punch to a future session or redeem it as store credit.  IMPORTANT: Because they system relies heavily on commitment and attendance to be successful, we can credit your account up to two sessions missed.

            Things to Keep in Mind

            • Liability Waiver: Parents will need to sign a liability waiver if they would like to leave their child here during the sessions.
            • Group Sizes: Our ideal group size for our D&D Sessions is 6. We require at least 3 players to be able to run a 5-week campaign. If we have a request for a friend to join a group that would add a seventh player to the session, we talk this over with the DM first and then inform all parents/guardians about the addition.
            • Age appropriateness: We keep our D&D campaigns for kids mild-mannered. However, please keep in mind there is fighting and sometimes violent encounters in the game: "Encounters often take the form of battles with "monsters" – a generic term used in D&D to describe potentially hostile beings such as animals, aberrant beings, or mythical creatures (Wikipedia)."
            • Age Groups: We tend to group our Kids' D&D Sessions based on age. This is more of a recommendation than a hard rule. We may have some overlap in age groups to fill space or to accommodate requests. Please keep this in mind as you sign up for sessions.
            • Player Groups: Our Kids D&D Sessions have really grown since we first opened! We want to do everything we can to accommodate players who want to play together. Usually, we can make that happen! However, this requires a bit of flexibility and scheduling compromises for everyone involved including DMs, parents/guardians, players, our store calendar, and our program coordinator. If you have any requests, please let us know and we will do our best to make it happen.
            • Three Strikes Rule: Players will have three strikes for following instructions from our staff. The first one is a warning, the second one is a chat with the parent/guardian and/or Dustin (store manager/owner), and the third one is a break from the store.

            Who are our DMs?

            Violet

Violet has over 12 years of experience DM-ing games and organizing D&D tables for game stores, conventions, and events including D&D celebration, San Diego Comic Con, and other local LA experiences. She has been a guest on Dragon Talk, the official D&D podcast, for her work consulting for a TV show on incorporating D&D, and has run games at a live-streamed event at the Getty. She has also worked 6 years as a science teacher and has even longer experience in education working with organizations since her college years to provide SAT resources and college counseling to high schoolers with less opportunities than their peers. She believes strongly in inclusion and equity and tries to advocate for it in all facets of her life.

            Ryan

Ryan has been an avid adventurer in TTRPG’s since 2020 and has been playing the classics of board gaming since he was a kid. His first introduction to the TTRPG World was with Dungeons and Dragons, but has grown to love Knives in the Dark, Call of Cthulu, and Pathfinder. In the past he was a youth director for his college’s summer theatre program and worked with Dragon King Productions in Shenzen as a children’s choreographer for Disney’s Peter Pan Jr. Working with kids and watching them grow as individuals and as creatives is a great joy in his life.

Ryan is a world builder. He loves getting his players involved in creating the world they will play in, through a game called The Quiet Year. Players invested in what they’ve built makes for a better and more immersive experience all around. Outside of being a DM he likes to bring his characters to life, he always avoids playing a Bard but ends up multiclassing because he can’t help but talk his way out of every encounter. Everyone’s story deserves to be heard and I can’t wait to facilitate that for every player that enters our realm.

            Dustin

Dustin is the owner of BGE's Tabletop and has been using game-based learning and gamification in his career as an educator from the very first year he stepped into a classroom in South Korea. Since then, creating engaging environments for learning and developing soft skills has become his passion-- hence the game store! He has been DM-ing for a couple of years and introduces new players to D&D every week!
